The UK industry associations, through their own projects and participation in industry supported projects at the European level (CAOBISCO/ECA), have contributed their expertise to research to understand the factors involved in the occurrence and control of natural and agricultural contaminants and post-harvest factors that affect the quality of the cocoa.
